Normalization meeting between Turkey and Syria to start in Moscow today

Russia, Iran, Syria and Turkey will participate in a meeting to enable the normalization of relations between Turkey and Syria, in Moscow today. The meeting will be held at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers.

The consultations to be made in Moscow will be technical and it is expected to plan negotiations between the senior diplomats of the four countries.

MEETING IN MARCH WAS POSTPONED

The meeting between senior diplomats was planned to be held in March but was postponed.

According to explanation Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov made the decision to postpone the postponement of the meeting was taken because some partners were not fully ready for it. According to a source, all participants have already come to Moscow to make “necessary consultations for preparation for the Foreign Ministers meeting”.
