EPDK announces big hike in electricity price
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) reported that there was a 20 percent increase in the electricity tariff that would be valid for residential buildings as of September.
EPDK published its September schedule.
According to the statement, the hike list is as follows:
* 20 Percent for residential and agricultural activities user groups
* 30 Percent for the public and private services sector and other user groups
* 50 Percent for the industry group
“With this increase, the amount to be paid for a residential user with an electricity consumption of 100 kilowatt hours will be 173,46 liras,” the statement said.
