Erdogan is aware of the economic crisis: “We know the concerns perfectly well”

President Tayyip Erdogan said that he was aware of the economic crisis in the country and added “We know very well the welfare loss and concerns.” Erdogan also emphasized the new constitution.

President Tayyip Erdogan addressed the Turkish Grand National Assembly at the opening of the 6th Legislative Year of the 27th Term.

Emphasizing the ’new constitution’, Tayyip Erdogan said, “I believe that our new term Parliament will erase the last trace of the coup periods by bringing Turkey together with the new constitution that it has the right to.”

Saying that he is aware of the economic crisis in the country, the President shared following:

“There is human at the basis of the model we plan to grow our country through investment, employment, production, exports and current account surplus. We are following those who strongly criticize us because of this choice and see they are coming to the same point with us after their threats. We are well aware of the welfare losses and concerns caused by the unstable rise in the exchange rate of our country.”

Erdogan also said about the minimum wage hike, “We will review it again on New Year’s Eve. We will not allow any of our citizens to suffer under inflation.”
