May 14 message from Erdogan: Don’t let sweet competition turn into political enmity

President Erdogan stated that the whole of Turkey would win on May 14, regardless of which ethnic origin, sect, world-view and said, “Please let’s not allow the opportunity for the sweet competition in politics to turn into political enmity.”

In a post on his social media account, President Erdogan said “We will come out of the most important elections in our history, May 14, with victory again with the permission of Allah (God). So, who will win in these elections? Every member of the 85 million, young people, elderly, women and men, will win.”

Stating that all 81 provinces with east, west, north and south would win, Erdogan said, “Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Sunnis, Alevis, as well as all segments of our society, all colors of Turkey will win. All our citizens belonging to different faiths with their Christian, Jewish, Syriac will win.”
