Finance and Treasury Minister Nebati: We will reduce inflation to single digits in a few months

Treasury and Finance Minister Nebati who met with women managers of establishments and NGOs, made an ambitious statement saying Turkey’s economic model was the right model. The President of TUED said that Minister Nebati had expressed at the meeting that he planned to reduce inflation to single digits in the next few months.

Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati met with about 50 female executives of the business world and NGOs. The meeting took place in the Presidential Dolmabahçe Office of Labor, closed to the press and lasted about 5 and a half hours. Minister Nebati made a presentation on the economic outlook of Turkey at the meeting.

Another business woman said that some female representatives had noted in the meeting the Central Bank’s rate cut was not reflected in the sectors. The minister expressed that this issue would be addressed. He also said that inflation would be fought and that the most important agenda of 2022 was to fight inflation.
