Flights to Bodrum double for Ramadan holiday

With the upcoming RAMADAN holiday hotels in Bodrum have reached an 80 percent occupancy rate and flights have doubled. The number of flights on domestic routes on the other hand have increased from 24 to 50 between April 29 and May 8.

The representatives of the sector, have made an assessment noting that with the increasing demand, the occupancy rate of the holiday hotels will reach 100 percent and they expect more than 30 thousand foreign tourists to Bodrum.

“WE EXPECT TO RECEIVE 1 MILLION TOURISTS”

President of Bodrum Hoteliers Association expressed his satisfaction regarding the demand and said that they expected 100 percent occupancy in Bodrum hotels. Explaining that the holiday season would start with the holiday, he said, “Life has returned to normal after many years. Looking ahead to the holiday, there is about 80 percent occupancy in the hotels. Every day until the feast, this rate continues to increase. Vacationers should take advantage of early booking opportunities. In general, we expect 1 million domestic and foreign tourists to come for holiday. There is 80 percent occupancy on the planes. Tourists from European countries such as the UK, the Netherlands, Germany have begun to come to Bodrum. I advise domestic and foreign tourists to make their reservations in advance.”
