Foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine to meet in Antalya

In the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the highest-level meeting since the beginning of the war is scheduled to take place.

Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has announced that Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will meet in Antalya.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also confirmed that the foreign ministers of the two countries will meet at the diplomacy forum to be held in Antalya.

Maria Zaharova, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, explained to TASS that the decision to hold the meeting was taken on the initiative of Erdogan and Putin, who had a telephone conversation.

Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also announced that the meeting will be held in a trilateral format on March 10. Cavusoglu called the meeting an important step and a turning point.
