Forest fire in Muğla! A neighborhood evacuated in Muğla, vehicle access to the area prohibited

A forest fire broke out in Milas district of Muğla. For precautionary purposes, the evacuation of the Kuyucak Neighborhood, where the flames are advancing, began. Vehicle access to the area was banned while the response to the flames growing with the wind continued.

The fire that broke out in the grassland in Milas district of Muğla jumped into the forest. Crews are responding to the flames from the air and land.

A fire broke out in the area between the Boğaziçi Neighborhood of Milas and the Bodrum Güvercinlik Neighborhood at about 15:00.

In a short time, the growing flames jumped into the forest. Those who noticed the smoke reported the situation to the forest teams.

The forest fire, which started in the Milas Boğaziçi region and moved towards Bodrum Güvercinlik under the influence of the wind, is being attended to by 8 aircraft and 14 helicopters, 74 land and water tankers, 12 construction machinery and 615 forest fire extinguishing workers from the air.
