Giant infrastruture project in India is awaiting Turkish Contractors

MUMBAI_INDIAIndia is preparing to realize a giant infra-structure project worth USD 90 billion, in Mumbai.

Mumbai city in India which is expected to become one of the two superpowers in the world in the future, has started the largest infra-structure project in the country.

Based on the project, a global production and trading center to cover 9 mega industry zones – each 250 square kilometers, fast transportation lines, 3 ports, 6 airports, a  4,000 megawatt energy plant and a 6 lane motorway which will connect Mumbai and Delphi are going to be built.

It is expected that half of the finance for the giant project worth USD 90 billion will be covered by the Indian government unreturned. The other half is expected to be provided on unconditional credit basis.

The project which is expected to be 1,483 km long is going to cover counties of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharastha  and NCR (capital) region of New Delhi.

An approximate number of 180 million people are expected to be effected in a positive manner by this project when the industry corridor which will contain 2 ports neighboring Mumbai, is realized.
