GM says Onur Air enlarging targets and plans after opening of Istanbul Airport

Onur Air General Manager has made statements about Istanbul Airport that went into operation a few months ago. After Atlas Global Airlines announced that it had stopped its flights due to the increase in logistics and operational costs as of April based on the transition to Istanbul Airport, Onur Air General Manager Teoman TOSUN made statements about Istanbul Airport.

Onur Air General Manager Mr. TOSUN explained that his company had Turkey’s largest Airbus 330 fleet as a private airline company and they would increase the number of the aircraft in their fleet to 36. Mr. TOSUN also said the company had carried 110 million passengers since establishment.

The General Manager noted that after the opening of Istanbul Airport they had started to enlarge their targets by renewing their commercial plans.

Mr. TOSUN underlined that the importance and value of Istanbul Airport was understood better and better each passing day. He said, “I believe Istanbul Airport has undoubtedly accelerated our company as well as our country. The fact that our airport with a capacity of 90 million will reach 200 million passengers per year with all phases is a reality that expresses itself in numbers”.
