Government heralds new discount on the price of gasoline

An update has been made to the price of gasoline. A discount of about 30 cents is expected to be applied to the price of a liter of gasoline starting from Thursday.

According to information received from fuel industry officials, a discount of about 30 cents is expected to be applied to the price of a liter of gasoline effective from Thursday.

No new price changes are expected for diesel and LPG yet.

Recently, the Turkish lira had suffered serious depreciation against the US dollar and serious fuel price hikes had been made.

There is no doubt that fuel increases have a rather negative impact on transportation costs. This, in turn, is reflected in the prices of all other products as inflation.
