Governor of Istanbul announces new working hours been discussed for some time
Ali YERLIKAYA, the governor of Istanbul has announced new working hours that have been discussed for some time. Accordingly, elementary school first grade students and nursery students will go to school at 9:00 o’clock on 21 September and at 9:30 starting second week.
Starting from 28 September 2020, some regional directorates and gendarmerie, police and Coast Guard Command will start their shifts starting from 07:00 and gradually changing to 08:00 and 09:00 depending on their type of duty and location.
Our Metropolitan and district municipalities will work at 08: 00 and 16: 30 at our Health Organization at 08:30 and 16: 30 at all other public organizations will start working at 09:00 and 16:30″
The governor said that a compromise has been reached on multiple-stage working hours in the private sector, and together with representatives of the business community, these hours will be announced soon.
