Health Minister announces export ban on rare medicines

The statement came from the Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca. He said, “We have suspended the export of drugs that are still scarce on the market for a while until we take care of the difficulty in supplying medicines, together.”

On the other hand, the Minister of Health announced that they had reached an agreement with pharmaceutical manufacturers to increase the production of medicines that are difficult to find.

As the first step to eliminate the lack of medicines, the euro exchange rate for the supply of medicines was increased from 7 lira 86 kuruş to 10 lira 76 kuruş.
