How will the weather be today? Downpours and southwest wind will hit
According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather forecast in some provinces and districts for tomorrow has been announced. Thundery showers are expected in Marmara, Aegean and Western Mediterranean along with lodos (southwest wind). A flood and flood warning was issued while rainfall was expected to be strong in the Coastal Aegean and Tekirdağ, Istanbul, Çanakkale, Bursa, Balıkesir, Manisa, Balıkesir and Izmir. Lodos will be effective in the form of storms in Marmara and the Aegean.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has given warnings to citizens by reporting weather forecasts, possible heavy rains and lodos events.
HOW WILL THE WEATHER BE TODAY?
According to estimates from the General Directorate of Meteorology Northern, Central and western parts of the country will be partly and very cloudy, Marmara (except Bilecik and Sakarya),
the coastal Aegean Manisa, Denizli, Antalya and Isparta circles will have intermittent rain showers and thunderstorms in places, rainy, and other places will be partly cloudy and clear. The air temperature will decrease slightly in the northwestern parts and there will be no significant changes in other places. The temperatures will remain above seasonal norms throughout the country.
WEATHER FORECAST ACCORDING TO METEOROLOGY
Rainfall will be strong round areas like Aegean coast, Tekirdağ, Istanbul, Canakkale, Bursa, Manisa and Balikesir (21-50 kg/m2) and with very strong and severe (51-100 kg/m2) in western coastal districts of Balıkesir, northern areas of Izmir and eastern and southern districts of the Dardanelles (51-100 kg/m2).
Citizens are warned about possible flood, lightning, transportation disruptions and they are asked to be careful and cautious against problems that may arise. Haze and fog are expected in places in the interior and eastern parts of the city this morning and at night.
