Important statement from Erdogan: Attacks increase as Turkey nears 2023

Speaking at a group meeting of his party, Erdogan said: “They think that everyone is involved in corruption, theft, drug trafficking and everyone’s sold. We have been facing a mood that has lost itself enough to accuse the country of any vile adjective that comes to mind.”

The President also shared following:

“If only the problem related to the issue of lies and slander had to do with the head of CHP (main opposition), but this issue has become a problem that is increasingly spreading in the media and social media. Many countries are resorting to various regulations to combat this threat. We need to take similar legal steps on our agenda urgently.”

“Turkey’s election calendar is June 2023. This is our decision as Cumhur Alliance. That’s the date we have announced.”

“A style of politics dominated by lies is not in our book. Even sworn enemies of Turkey cannot raise the bar to this level (referring to debate about Kanal Istanbul). They don’t only threaten everyone, from business world to bureaucrats. What they say, is  if any party provides a loan for the project, they won’t pay (when/if in power). They don’t know what government (governing) is. There is an international arbitration mechanism. We came to power, we paid off the loans before us.”

We are starting the construction of Canal Istanbul, swiftly.

“The agreement on military cooperation with Qatar” etc. is all a lie from head to toe. What they call “medical education without exams” is the signing of the military health cooperation protocol with Qatar, which has existed since 1994.”
