Increase rate of civil servant and pension salaries for 2023 announced

With the inflation data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), the rates of pension increases to be given to civil servants and civil servants with the difference in inflation have been finalized.

According to the data announced by TURKSTAT, inflation was 1.18 percent monthly and 64.2 percent annually in December. The six-month inflation rate was 15.39 percent.

PENSIONER AND CIVIL SERVANT SALARY INCREASE

Accordingly, the salaries of civil servants and civil servant pensioners will be increased by 16.47 percent with the collective agreement increase and the inflation difference, while the salaries of SSK (Social Security) and BAĞ-KUR pensioners will be increased by 15.4 percent.

The last increase in pensions was made in July 2022; the lowest civil servant salary was 9105 TL and the lowest civil servant pension was 6078 TL.
