Turkey targeting to become Europe’s third strongest economy

Turkey which is among the countries with fastest developing economies still has major problems such as unemployment rate, corruption and foreign trade deficit.

This situation however does not encourage the administration on the way to reaching its target to rank third best economy in Europe sooner than expected.

Turkish government headed by powerful PM Erdoğan is doing its best to bring solutions to said issues.

Corruption for instance is among the top priorities of the administration and Turkey displaying a strong challenge to put end to this problem that has always been a nightmare for developing countries.

As for unemployment problem which has always been another headache for the country for many decades now it is observed that the findings are promising, based on latest reports issued by authorities and the unemployment rate in Turkey is decreasing each day.

In fact there is a better momentum in Turkey than in the United States regarding the fight against unemployment as per recent reports and a number of four million people were employed in Turkey between 2007 and 2011.

On the other hand forecasts also say Turkey is to reach four percent growth target in 2013 and three percent in 2014.

Under the light of above findings and taking into consideration the assertive and energetic performance – to include foreign trade marketing efforts, it can be comfortably said Turkey could reach its targeted performance and ranking as the 3rd best economy in Europe in a reasonably period of time.
