Israel gives 24-hour ultimatum: On the 7th day of conflicts, Gaza is on the brink of collapse

The clashes that began after the Aqsa Tempest operation continue into the 7th day. The death toll from Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 1,799, with 6,488 people wounded. In retaliatory attacks from Gaza, 1,300 Israelis lost their lives, and 3,300 Israelis were injured.

Human Rights Watch announced that Israel had used white phosphorus in its military operations in Gaza and Lebanon. Israeli media reported that Israeli security forces were preparing for a ground operation against Gaza.

In a request made by Israel to the UN, Israel asked the organization, “to move the Palestinians in Gaza to the south within 24 hours.” The Israel Defense Forces requested the cancellation of the demand for civilians to be moved to the south, emphasizing that this request also applied to UN personnel. The UN described Israel’s call as “horrifying,” saying that Gaza was rapidly turning into a pit of hell and on the verge of collapse.

Also the clashes between Palestinian resistance organizations and Israeli forces, which began with the Aqsa Tempest operation on October 7, continue into the seventh day. Israel continued its attacks on Gaza throughout the night.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 1,799 people lost their lives and 6,488 were wounded in Israel’s attacks on Gaza. It was also reported that 1,300 Israelis lost their lives and 3,300 Israelis were injured in retaliatory attacks from Gaza. Additionally, in the West Bank, 36 Palestinians were reported to have died in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers, with 650 people injured.

Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz stated that electricity, water, and fuel would not be provided to Gaza until the Israelis held hostage returned to their homes. The Israeli army announced, “We are preparing for a ground operation. We are building a security wall in Gaza. Anyone approaching will be targeted.”

The Israeli military made an urgent notification to the UN. In the request to the UN from Israel, it was stated, “Move the Palestinians in Gaza to the south within 24 hours.” The United Nations warned that such an action would have destructive consequences.
