Istanbul named best city in Europe for bringing together different cultures

Istanbul was chosen as the best city in Europe. Those who voted for Istanbul, which received 90.23 points, expressed a lot of praise for the city. It was mentioned that Istanbul brought together different cultures, adding tourists were treated properly.

Istanbul took the first place in the list of ‘Top 15 Cities in Europe’ in the ‘Best of the World’ award program of travel magazine Travel + Leisure. Readers of the New York-based magazine voted for this year’s awards of the ‘Best in the World’ program. Within the scope of the program, the most popular airlines, airports, hotels, tour operators and cities were voted.

For the city awards, readers voted on the categories of ‘tourist attractions, city symbols, culture, food, friendliness, shopping and value’. According to the news on Turkish media, Istanbul was ranked first in the list of the Top 15 Cities in Europe with an average of 90.23 in this list.
