Joint statement from “six party table” after extraordinary meeting about earthquake

The meeting of six-party table which was due on February 13 but postponed to February 18 was held today. After the meeting ended, parties shared a joint statement saying “we will establish a commission for the work to be done in the short, medium and long term on the elimination of the effects of the earthquake and for joint work in regards.”

The statement shared by the table noted following: “Despite the bewilderment, helplessness and discriminatory attitude of the government, we thank our institutions and public servants who have fulfilled their responsibilities since the first moment of the earthquake and tried to do everything they could. We are grateful to our NGOs, citizens, those who have shown great solidarity, who have worked with great sacrifice and diligence, and to all our anonymous heroes who have labored.”

MAY OUR PEOPLE HAVE RELIEF AND TRUST US

The statement also said following: “May our people have relief (trust us). We are determined to build livable cities in accordance with human standards of living with our fast, healthy and permanent solutions. We will not leave even one of our people hungry and exposed! We will share our pain together and heal our material and spiritual wounds together.”

ROUTINE MEETING WILL BE HELD ON MARCH 2nd

The postponed routine meeting is to be held on March 2nd as stated by the 6-party table.
