Kremlin responds to Biden’s call to meet with Putin

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded to US President Biden’s call for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Peskov said that Putin was open to negotiating with Biden, but the Russian military was not ready to get out of Ukraine.

The Kremlin has responded to the latest situation in the Russian War in Ukraine and to US President Biden’s call for talks with Putin.

Kremlin Spokesman Peskov said, “The United States does not recognize Russia’s new territories. This situation complicates the search for a mutual basis for negotiations. However, in order to achieve our goals, Putin is open to talks with all parties. The most preferred way to achieve our goals is diplomatic methods.”

However, Peskov, on the question of whether Russia is ready to get out of Ukraine, replied: “The special military operation is on-going in Ukraine.”
