Last minute news: Forest Fire in Ölüdeniz Babadağ
A forest fire has broken out in Fethiye Ölüdeniz. The fire started in two separate locations in the forested area on the slopes of Babadağ.
Helicopters are being used to combat the blaze, and it has been reported that the flames have been brought under control thanks to early intervention from the air.
Unfortunately, a forest fire has also occurred in Fethiye, one of the jewels of our southern coast. Thankfully, it has been brought under control with helicopter intervention.
As is well known, many foreigners live in Fethiye. A large portion of them are British citizens with permanent residence permits. Additionally, tens of thousands of foreigners from other European countries also reside in the area.
