The number of tourists arriving in Antalya exceeds 2 million

As of May 23, the number of foreign tourists arriving in Antalya by air increased by 217 percent to 2 million 35 thousand 948.

2022 tourism data for Antalya, which closed last year with more than 9 million tourists despite the coronavirus outbreak, showed a large increase during January 1 – May 23 period, compared to the same period last year.

During said period the number of tourists arriving in the city by air was 2 million 35 thousand 948, an increase of 217 percent compared to the same period last year. During the same period last year, the number of tourists coming to Antalya was recorded as 643 thousand 68 people. In the first 23 days of May, 813,753 tourists arrived, an increase of 314 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
