Meteorology Expert Warns: Extreme Heat Wave Approaching!

Following the weather forecasts from the Meteorology Department, Meteorology expert Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen has issued a warning about an upcoming extreme heat wave, specifying dates for its occurrence.
CNN TÜRK Meteorology Consultant Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen warned about the extreme heat on his social media account. He stated that the heat would begin to be felt from Monday and will last for 5-6 days.
In his post, Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen shared the following statements: “From Monday onwards, extreme heat will affect the Marmara, Aegean, and Mediterranean regions. It will last for 5-6 days. Avoid going outside between 11 AM and 4 PM, drink plenty of water, wear light-colored and loose clothing, and don’t forget your sunglasses and hats. There is a risk of forest fires. Do not smoke in your car or near forest areas.”
Meanwhile, according to the latest forecasts from the Meteorology General Directorate: the northern, inner, and eastern parts of the country will be partly and occasionally very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the northern parts of Eastern Anatolia, and the surrounding areas of Sinop, Yozgat, and Sivas, as well as the northern districts of Kayseri. Other areas are expected to be partly cloudy and clear.
