Meteorology warns of heavy snowfall for 16 provinces

Meteorology published the weather report for January 5th. Heavy snowfall is expected in 16 provinces, while fog and haze events are expected in 30 provinces. According to a recent assessment by the General Directorate of Meteorology, northern and eastern parts of Turkey will be very cloudy, the Black Sea coast, the Anatolian side of Istanbul, Yalova, Kocaeli, Sakarya circles and Kastamonu coast will be rainy,

Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize and Artvin and high segments of the internal environment will see sleet and snow, other places is expected to be slightly cloudy. Haze and fog are expected in Marmara to be dense at some places and haze and fog may also be seen in interior places.

According to the latest assessments made; Since fog is expected in Thrace, Istanbul, Çanakkale, Balıkesir, the west of Bursa and Manisa, especially at night and in the morning, decrease in visibility is likely which may cause disruptions in transportation. One should be careful and cautious about such negativities.

MARMARA

It will be partly cloudy and very cloudy, and it is predicted that the Anatolian Side of Istanbul and the Yalova, Kocaeli and Sakarya neighborhoods will see light rain this evening. Fog and haze are expected throughout the region, including dense in places.
