Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry allows two GMO genes

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has allowed the use of a genetically modified (GMO) corn and a soy gene for animal feed purposes for a period of 10 years.

In addition, the permission for the use of two genetically modified (GMO) corn genes for animal feed purposes with an expiration date of 10 years has been revoked, while the production of some kind of enzyme has also been allowed for 10 years.

Thus, the number of such genetically modified items allowed for application, became 12 soy, 3 enzymes and 23 corn types.

GMO foods that secrete poisons are obtained from plant species whose DNA has been changed by methods developed by genetic engineering. By transferring DNA from one organism to another organism, the DNA of that organism is genetically modified.
