Mounted gendarmerie teams to provide security at famous Salda Lake in Burdur

It is reported that security at Salda Lake in the Yeşilova District of Burdur, known as the Maldives of Turkey, will be provided by mounted gendarmerie teams.

Officers from Horse and Dog Training Center Command and 3 horses trained for public order will serve at and around the popular lake to provide security around the lake during the whole summer.

The mounted gendarmerie team will provide safety and security in picnic areas and parks, especially in areas that cannot be entered by vehicle during their tenure, and will also perform tasks related to nature and Wildlife Protection and Environmental Protection.

The team will complete its mission at the end of September and return to Nevşehir Gendarmerie Horse And Dog Training Center Command.

Salda Lake is known to be one of the most spectacular spots in Turkey and received thousands of domestic and foreign tourists each and every year.
