Mugla Municipality increases measures against coronavirus after it is spotted in Turkey

After coronavirus was last seen in Turkey, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality increased the disinfecting work in 13 districts, bus stations, public transport vehicles, public buildings and payment points. Crews worked to disinfect waiting points, ticket outlets, elevators and escalators located at bus stations.

Public transport vehicles in Muğla were subjected to internal and external sterilization with at least 60 percent alcohol-based disinfectant approved by the Ministry of Health”.

On the other hand, the payment points belonging to Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and the ATMs in the area were also disinfected.

A statement from Muğla municipality said,

“In order to minimize the risk of epidemics of all kinds, including coronavirus which has been effective globally and was also seen in Turkey recently we have increased our efforts to disinfect and sterilize public places such as the bus station and passenger bus station of Hinge district where mobility is more intensive, public transport, public buildings. During the cleaning works performed at the end of the expedition, passenger restraints, seats, ventilation covers, glass and metal surfaces in buses are routinely disinfected with products suitable for the surface. We will continue to implement and increase the necessary measures and measures for the health of our citizens.”
