Newspaper in Israel announces vaccine against coronavirus developed by scientists

While the whole world is worried about the bad news about the corona virus, – like the one officially declaring it as pandemic (large-scale epidemic) by WHO, thankfully it seems as if some good news have started to arrive as well. In Hubei province for instance where the outbreak occurred, it was decided to resume production, months later. Shortly after this announcement, HAARETZ, one of Israel’s most widely read newspapers has announced that Israeli scientists have developed a vaccine against the corona virus.

A new announcement has come from China about the corona virus (Co-vid19), which became an epidemic shortly after it started in Wuhan, China’s Hubei province. One of the Chinese government’s official publications, The Global Times, told its readers that it had decided to resume production in Hubei province. On the other hand it is also reported that travel bans in four regions in China have been loosened,

Haaretz, Israel’s widely read newspaper in English-language, reported that Israeli scientists had developed a vaccine for the corona virus. The paper reported in the headlines that scientists at the Institute for Biological Research had taken important steps to understand the virus. Sources who spoke to the paper said lengthy preclinical and clinical tests were needed. Sources told the paper that scientists had taken important steps to understand the biological mechanism of the virus and its values, while important steps had been taken on issues such as “diagnostic characteristics, antibody production and vaccine production.”

However it is reported that a series of tests are needed to ensure the vaccine to be produced is truly effective or that its use will not cause complications. Experts also stressed that these tests could take months.
