NEW PROJECT TO MAKE MUCH CONTRIBUTION TO TURKEY’S POPULARITY

Altun emphasized that with this project, they hoped to make a significant contribution to Turkey’s popular culture industry, cultural heritage, and broadcasting life, saying, “The subject of the series, in terms of the history of civilizations and world history, focuses on a very vital actor. It shows the achievements of Mehmed the Conqueror, especially his conquest of Istanbul, and tells this story. This series essentially tells that Mehmed the Conqueror was a ruler who institutionalized the Ottoman State and truly turned it into a state with all its elements.”

“It contributes significantly to the Turkish brand”

Altun emphasized the vitality of art and cinema in this context, saying, “Therefore, reconciling with art, cinema, our history, revealing the depths, the truth, and all dimensions of our history is actually our debt to our people. It’s basically the artist’s debt to society. Thankfully, in recent times, our series and cinema industry are truly developing in this sense and making a significant investment in the Turkish brand.”
