Person who dropped the bomb in Istiklal Street caught by police

Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu announced yesterday that the person who dropped the bomb that caused the explosion on Istiklal Street had been captured. The identities of those who lost their lives in the attack were also revealed.
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu made statements on Istiklal Street, where the bomb attack had been carried out at 16.13 yesterday.
The Interior Minister said the explosion had killed six people from three families and injured 81 people, adding that the person who dropped the bomb had been detained.

SUSPECT CAUGHT AND DETAINED BY POLICE
Images of the moments when the suspect, who allegedly carried out the attack on Istiklal Street in Beyoglu, in which 6 people lost their lives and 81 people were injured, fled immediately after the explosion, emerged.
While everyone was panicking at 16.13 when the explosion occurred on Istiklal Street, it is seen that the suspect woman ran away from the scene within the same minute after the explosion.
MINISTER REVEALS THE ORGANIZATION RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTACK
Speaking about the explosion in Beyoğlu, Interior Minister Soylu said that the PKK had organized the attack. Minister Soylu spoke as follows: “We have an assessment that the instructions for the action came from Kobani and that the perpetrator of the action passed through Afrin. The person who just dropped the bomb was detained by the Istanbul Police Department teams. Within the framework of the findings we have obtained, the responsible group is PKK /PYD terrorist organization.”
