Pharmaceutical company owner says fake antiseptic disinfectants used in hospitals

Mehmet SAPCI, a pharmaceutical company owner has warned about fake antiseptic disinfectants used in hospitals. He said the public also used “counterfeit products”.

After claims that most of the masks believed to protect against the virus were fake, one critical claim came for antiseptic disinfectants used to protect against the virus. Mehmet SAPCI, chairman of the Board of Directors of Central Pharmaceuticals, officially reported with a letter to health minister Fahrettin KOCA, that most of the antiseptic and disinfectants used throughout the country were fake.

In his letter, he also reported that many antiseptic disinfectants used in hospitals were fake and lacked protection properties, so people died from hospital germs. He also sent Minister Koca a list of 33 brands of counterfeit products currently used by hospitals.
