Precipitation warning from Meteorology: It will also be effective today

According to the forecasts of the General Directorate of Meteorology, the rainy weather that has been manifesting itself in the country for several days will also be effective today, and air temperatures will decrease. Precipitation is expected to recede to a narrower area starting tomorrow.

According to the forecasts published by the General Directorate of Meteorology, precipitation will be strong in places today. Due to the rainy weather, temperatures will drop to seasonal normal. Summer which seemed to come early, will take a break for a while.

PRECIPITATION WILL STRENGTHEN IN SOME AREAS

It is expected that the whole country will be fragmented and very cloudy at some places. The northeast of Marmara, the Aegean Sea, the Mediterranean Sea (except Hatay), Central Anatolia (except Ankara and Çankırı), the Black Sea Region and the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, the vicinity of Muş, Bitlis and Van will be rainy.

Precipitation is usually expected to be showers and thunderstorms, sleet and snow at elevations of the Eastern Black Sea interior (over 2500 m), local strength is expected in the Eastern Black Sea, northeast of Central Anatolia, Ordu, Amasya and Tokat, as well as in the eastern, northern and northern parts of Samsun, Adana and Osmaniye.

According to the forecasts received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the air temperature will decrease significantly (6-10 degrees) in the northern, inner and western parts and fall below seasonal norms, there will be no significant changes in other places. The wind will blow from the north in the western parts, from the Eastern Mediterranean coast and from the south and southwest in the inner and eastern parts, occasionally with moderate strength, from the south of Decara and from the Aegean coast with a strong (40-60 km/h) in places.

Ankara: Fragmented, very cloudy in places, 15
Istanbul: Partly very cloudy, light showers after the morning, 18
Izmir: Fragmented very cloudy in places, with showers and thunderstorms in the morning, 21
Adana: Fragmented very cloudy in places, showers and thunderstorms in the northern circles after noon (Precipitation is expected to be strong locally) 27
Antalya: Fragmented very cloudy in places, showers and thunderstorms after noon, 23
