President Erdogan and official delegation pay a visit to Qatar
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is making an official visit to Qatar, today. Before the visit, the two countries signed a new agreement that paved the way for Qatar to deploy its warplanes in Turkey for training purposes and use its airspace while there was tension between 2 countries about hydrocarbon research in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The visit coincides with the visit to Turkey of crown prince Mohammed Bin Zayed from the United Arab Emirates, whose relations have improved recently with both Turkey and Qatar.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Emir of Qatar Al-Sani held a joint press conference after bilateral and inter-delegation talks. President Erdogan said a total of 15 agreements to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries had been signed.
