President Erdogan: We are launching the largest social housing project in Turkey’s history

President Tayyip Erdogan said that they were launching the biggest social housing project in the history of the republic, but did not give details. Speaking after the cabinet meeting, Erdogan made some statements about housing in Turkey, as follows:

“We will overcome our current difficulties by working hard and being patient. Although some want to overshadow the success of our economic policy, international assessments say the opposite.

We are determined to overcome bad intentions of these abusers with the measures we have taken and will take. Hopefully, we hope that inflation will enter a significant downward trend with the first months of the new-year.

We are launching the largest social housing project in the history of the republic. The preparations for the project, which those who want to own a house for the first time are looking forward to, are about to be completed.

We will make our citizens homeowners with housing projects built according to the local and horizontal architectural understanding and with installments as if they paid rents.
