President Erdogan: “We will provide 1-year rental support for earthquake victims”

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan conveyed the latest situation after visiting the tent city established for earthquake victims in Adıyaman, which was affected by the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquake. Erdogan said, “We are facing one of the biggest disasters of our history. There were serious destructions in our 10 provinces. Unfortunately, according to the latest findings, the number of our citizens who lost their lives has increased to 18 thousand 991. The number of those rescued has reached 75 thousand 523,”he said.

Erdogan also shared following: “I would like to express this in particular; Within 1 year, we will rebuild the destroyed buildings with the projects we have and deliver them to the owners. We will give 10 thousand liras each to our citizens. We will also ensure that our citizens who do not want to stay in tents will live in residences and we will pay the rent. Whether in Adiyaman or in different provinces, my citizens will be able to stay for 1 year.”
