It was announced that the Queen of England had tested positive for Covid-19 on February 20 and showed mild symptoms similar to a cold. Queen Elizabeth, who had had movement problems since last fall, was using a cane regularly since then.

Due to health problems, Queen Elizabeth had recently been unable to attend various events such as the opening of parliament and the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne.
