Red Cross Committee: “An international health team has reached Gaza”

The International Red Cross Committee reported that a health team has entered the Gaza Strip, which is under Israeli blockade.

In a written statement shared by the Red Cross Committee, it was stated, “An international health team consisting of 10 experts in emergency war surgery and (environmental) contamination from weapons has reached the Gaza Strip.”

The statement noted that six of the ten trucks carrying humanitarian and medical aid that entered through the Rafah Border Crossing today were delivered to the International Red Cross Committee in Gaza.

Vail Ebu Muhsin, the Director of the Rafah Border Crossing Press Office, said that a foreign health team consisting of 10 doctors from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, and Switzerland had entered Gaza.
