BRITISH TOURISTS ALCOHOL

A published report revealed that British holidaymakers consumed 50 thousand calories of food during one-week all-inclusive holidays. The research, carried out by a low-calorie drink brand, surprisingly revealed that holidaymakers enjoy a lot of food in all-inclusive resorts and even exceed their limits, with some eating 5,115 calories of food every day.

It was also noted that 5 thousand calories, which is more than twice the daily calorie consumption determined by nutritionists as 2,000 for women and 2,500 for men, are half consumed with booze by some tourists. According to news in Sozcu newspaper, many Britons supplement their daily calorie intake with alcohol alone, with an average of 2,240 calories of alcohol consumed on an all-inclusive day.

Three quarters of adults consume six alcoholic drinks every day

Three quarters of adults enjoy six alcoholic drinks every day, while 14% drink more than eight alcoholic drinks. But the research revealed that three out of every 10 Brits don’t seem to mind this, as only a fifth say they’ve gained weight on their last all-inclusive drink.

The founder of the brand in question said: “While there’s nothing wrong with drinking, some alcoholic drinks can contain a high amount of calories. A typical glass of wine can have up to 200 calories and a glass of beer up to 350 calories.”
