Report shares the number of Russian tourists who will come to Turkey this year

The Association of Tour Operators of Russia ATOR has announced that the flow of tourists from Russia to Turkey this year may exceed the levels recorded at 4.7 million people last year.

According to data of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Turkey has hosted more than 16 million tourists in the first six months of 2022, and this figure is only 9.5 percent lower compared to the same period in 2019

In case of favorable conditions the figure can exceed 4.7 million tourists

ATOR estimates that about 2.8 million tourists from Russia will be able to come to Turkey, sharing the expression “If conditions are right, the total volume of tourist traffic from Russia to Turkey in the whole of 2022 may exceed 4.7 million tourists.” It was also reported that 4.7 million Russian holidaymakers had visited Turkey, last year.
