Reservations sold out in Antalya: No vacancies in October

Antalya continues to be a favorite of tourists from all over the world. The number of tourists arriving by air to the city is expected to exceed 9 million by the end of the month. There is no room in the first half of October and due to the intensive demand the occupancy is expected to extend until the middle of October. Industry representatives explain the density by saying “There is not even an empty pillow.” The reasons behind the fact that tourists prefer Turkey instead of Europe attract attention.

Antalya is experiencing a tourist boom. Tourists are almost flocking to the city. Normally, school season causes holiday business to decline in September. However a professional says “this year, even in September, serious mobility is observed.”

The manager of another hotel, said, “We received serious numbers of guests from the Middle East during the high season, and the numbers from Europe and Russia are increasing, again. There have also been reports from Russia that the number of planes will increase.” He also described the variety of tourists and added, “It seems that there will not even be an empty pillow in September.” (TA)
