Spring cleaning is underway in Bodrum

Within the scope of the “Bodrum Spring Cleaning” project initiated by Bodrum Municipality on April 1, an environmental cleaning work called “hand in hand for a nature without butts” was carried out on the beach of Kabakum, Mugebi District. Speaking after about two hours of work, President Aras said, “Nature is not a dump, nature is our streets, belongs to all of us. Whatever our home is, we have to see it the same way.” said.

Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras and many other officials as well as environmental volunteers, 15 children and municipal cleaning teams participated in the cleaning event conducted by the Bodrum Municipality Cleaning Works Directorate.

19 DIFFERENT EVENTS ORGANIZED WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

Continuing his speech by thanking those who supported the work and the municipal teams, Mayor Aras said, “We have turned April into a great cleaning campaign. We want Bodrum to bloom like flowers in April and be immaculate. We made such a call to clean up our environment, the front of our doors, and to paint, whitewash our house and get ready for spring. In this context, we are organizing 19 separate events. We are carrying out these activities with the support of our Cleaning Department and our Red Crescent, which we are working with, which is always with us, which supports us also our groups such as Mis, our volunteers, children, schools and now the President and team of the Mugla Branch of the Green Crescent Society.”
