Response from Turkish Medical Association to President Erdogan’s statement about doctors

Physicians reacted to President Tayyip Erdogan’s expression saying “let them go if they want to” for physicians who go abroad or move to the private sector due to their problems. Secretary General of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) said, “In 2023 (meaning elections), they will go and we will stay.”

Turkish Medical Association (TTB) and politicians reacted to President Erdogan’s words saying “If they want to go, let them go” for doctors who have to go abroad or move to the private sector for a decent life standard.

Noting that President Erdogan’s words are “indicative of the crisis of inability to govern from beginning to end” The Central Council of the TTB also said, “We are Not Going Anywhere! We were here, We are Here, We will Stay Here.”
