Russia to refund citizens who will chose to prefer spending holidays in own country

Russian Prime Minister has announced a new package to encourage domestic tourism and enable citizens to choose domestic destinations instead of abroad.

The Minister said that some of the money citizens would spend on holidays within the country would be returned to those citizens. The amount is reported to be between 5 thousand rubles and 15 thousand rubles. The terms of such refund will be announced later. He also announced the government had allocated 15 billion rubles from the budget for the domestic tourism support program.
