On his return flight from Senegal to Turkey President Tayyip Erdogan had answered questions from reporters and noted that Russia did not stick to the agreements reached in Astana and Sochi also adding that Turkish officials had conveyed the following message in talks with the Russians: “If you stop these bombings in Idlib fair enough, otherwise we are running out of patience. After that, we’ll do whatever necessary.”

Shortly after President Erdogan made his remarks, the Russian Air Force struck a hospital in the town of Ariha earlier this morning. It was reported by “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” based in UK that 10 people had been killed in the attack. At least five women were said to have died.

According to the same source of news, 21 people have been killed in Russian attacks on Idlib, the only territory controlled by the opposition, in the past 24 hours.

Earlier this month, Russia denied reports that it had been operating in the region since the January 12th agreement reached with Turkey.

About 400 thousand people are reported to be advancing towards the Turkish border as attacks against Idlib by Russian and regime forces hit.
