Statement from government regarding intervention on social media

Speaking at the Launch Meeting of the Social Network Map, Fahrettin Altun, Head of Presidential Communications, said: “We stand against the propaganda and organizing activities of terrorist organizations on social media. Very clearly, we cannot stop international social media companies from supporting terrorist organizations and serving as propaganda hotbeds for terrorist organizations. ‘We are determined to take every necessary step.”
