The Ankara-Diyarbakır tourist train sets off today

The Ankara-Diyarbakır tourist train will start its first journey from the Historical Ankara Train Station. The Touristic Ankara-Diyarbakır Train, eagerly awaited by passengers, will make its first journey today.

The train will depart from Ankara today at 3:55 PM, and from Diyarbakır on Sunday, April 21st at 12:00 PM.

DEPARTING FROM ANKARA EVERY FRIDAY

From April 19th, 2024, to June 14th, 2024, the train will depart from Ankara every Friday, and from Diyarbakır from April 21st, 2024, to June 16th, 2024, every Sunday, serving passengers.

Operating on a 1051-kilometer route between Ankara and Diyarbakır, the Ankara-Diyarbakır-Ankara Tourist Train will consist of 180 seats, 9 sleeping cars, and 1 dining car.

During the Ankara-Diyarbakır route, the train will stop for 3 hours in Malatya, and during the Diyarbakır-Ankara route, it will stop for 4 hours in Yolçatı and 3 hours in Kayseri, providing passengers with the opportunity to see the historical and cultural sites in these areas.

Tourist train services will not only revitalize the regional economy but also strengthen cultural communication between cities, serving more than just a means of transportation.
