The Central Bank announces its interest rate decision

The Central Bank cut the policy rate by another 100 basis points to 14 percent today. Despite the melting in the TL and the increase in inflation, the bank decided to continue interest rate cuts.After the decision, new records came in the dollar and euro.

The CBRT reduced the one-week repo tender interest rate (policy interest rate) by 100 basis points to 14 percent. After the Central Bank’s interest rate decision, the dollar /TL increased from 15.21 to 15.68 and then came down a little again.
