The Ministry of Tourism launches work for two free public beaches, to be completed before summer

Within the scope of the projects carried out by the Ministry of culture and Tourism, Belek public beach and Kadriye public beach and promenade area will start to serve as social areas offering rich opportunities. The facilities in said areas will offer many services from the beach areas to restaurants, from parking lots to local produce markets.

For instance, when the Belek project is completed, “Belek Public Beach” will be opened with a free beach area for 1000 people, parking with a capacity of 450 vehicles, cafes and restaurants, multi-purpose sports fields and a market place selling local products.

On the other hand, Free Kadriye public beach and picnic area will make available many facilities and services such as 16 thousand square meters picnic area, promenade, a free public beach for 3 thousand people, 570 vehicle parking capacity, cultural and art activities, cafes, restaurants and bakeries, local products market with amenities such as sports and public events space.

Another important point is the beaches are to be designed for the use of disabled citizens as well. Also, the ministry which follows a nature-friendly strategy will provide protection and treatment centers for the endangered and protected caretta caretta turtles on both beaches.

The facilities will offer many services from the beach area to restaurants, from the parking lot to the local produce market.
