The stock market gains 18 percent in four months on dollar basis

Borsa Istanbul has shown a positive outlook in terms of both the Turkish lira and the dollar in the first four months of the year.

Borsa Istanbul, where foreign investors are distanced due to the pressure of the government on economic management, has managed to stay in green for the first four months of the year.

Since the beginning of the year, the BIST 100 index has provided a return of 30.84 percent to its investor. In this process, the dollar-based gain has been 18.08 percent. Transportation shares brought the biggest yield with 86.83 percent.

Yield of 8.83 percent in April

The BIST 100 index, which saw the highest score of 2562, had a yield of 8.83 percent in April alone.
